Hawks New Drag Car "Green for the Money, Gold for the Honey"
Hey Guys, check out our new shop drag car. It is a 1992 Formula Firebird w/ a LQ4/T-56 swap and a Precision Turbo, SW turbo forward headers, custom turbo kit built be us, full cage, mini tubbed, narrowed rear end, smoothed engine bay. Let me know what you guys think...
Oh, here is a video of it on the dyno... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zy5Psm2ZY6o

Wow, something from Hawks without a maggie LOL. The bird looks very nice, and I'm sure it will GO.

You guys work on the coolest cars. How come so many Pontiacs?! Where's the chevy love?
Two questions for you: 1) How much are those headers? 2) Where did you guys hide the coil packs?

Why T56 for a drag car?
TH350/400 weighs less, cheaper to build up, more consistent stall for launch, more consistent passes
Brake lines look awful close to the header
Pretty car though, harness looks very clean

Haha, we have some pretty sweet Camaro's coming up soon Nick. As for the questions 1. they run around $950ish 2. Coil packs and in the dash behind the firewall, for a clean look.
