Re: Took some new pics
I just saw some of those pictures on HoFo! Your car is definately one my favorite cars. I can't wait to do my LS1 swap, I just gotta get some money. I finally got my car back together and I just got my windows tinted monday, so I'll be getting some new pictures too.
What lens is on that camera? I just recently bought a Rebel XTi, but I don't think my pictures look as good as yours.

Re: Took some new pics
The car is very nice and clean!
I shoot with a D200 and have all the pro lenses and stuff. Your choice of background is nice and clean. On the first picture the stairs are a little distracting and don't work for me. That shot at least on my uncalibrated screen is a tad underexposed, but that is must my taste. A little too much shadow on the bottom half of the car. The second picture I like alot and the stairs work really well for me. Not sure if you intended to create the dynamic angles with the car, stairs, and guard rail. #2 is my favorite picture. #3 is ok. #4 I would have cropped, a little tighter like # 3, crop out the snow in the background. # 5, I would have tried to duplicate what you did in #2 by moving the car more in front of the stairs. All in all a very good series! Great job!
Funny, I'm currently trying to get a good series of shots my self but still can't seem to find the one outstanding background I'm looking for, but I am looking out for one.

Re: Took some new pics
Thanks a lot for the comments. I really appreciate criticism like that.
The original spot that I had found had been barriered off and this was close so I just used it. Normally I probably would have looked for something a bit more interesting than stairs. Maybe when the weather is a bit better I will do another series

Re: Took some new pics
Its spent most of the winter in the garage. I had to pull it into the driveway to do some work on another car and then I realized the weather was actually ok so I took it out for a quick drive. It was cleaned again and now its back in the garage

Everything looks pretty good. Nice camera work, both picture quality and scenery / angles.

Re: Took some new pics
For some reason...maybe the angle...but the wheels don't look right in the first picture...
I think it's only the angle though, because on all of the rest they look good! Great pics! I love your car!
