320hp 355 For sale (Plus 700r4/ built rearend), 7000 miles since newly built *Pics*

The title says it all. My father built me this motor about a year and a half ago for my graduation present. He wouldnt let me go any higher than the 320-350hp range for my first V8. Now i am a bit older, and i want more.. Sooo, I am going to sell it with hopes to build bigger, better, and much more expensive. The engine runs perfectly, doesnt burn any oil, and hasn't been beat on. I, of course, got on it a few times, but I wasn't hard on it by any means. She runs strong and would be a great transplant to replace any 305 or even a 350 if thats what you want.. The exact specs are as follows:

K&N Xstream Flow 3" Air cleaner set. 750 Holley VS with a 3/4 Carb spacer. Motorville Intake (Edelbrock Performer RPM copy) GM-Stock 76cc heads (336 castings I believe), LT1 springs and valves, Ni-Chem Coated rockers
Bottom End - - Elgin 327/350Hp cam: Duration @ .050° - 222In/222Ex..Lift - .447In/.447Ex. 50,000 Volt coil on a Motorville Hi-performance HEI distributor. Recurved. Not sure of the timing, but pretty damn advanced. Scat 9000 with .125 dome pistons. 2-Bolt '75 350 block w/ stud kit. 6-quart race oilpan w/ windage tray.

I am including the Air filter (i bought it about about 2000 miles of driving), the carb (which was new when I put it on.. it has roughly 4500 miles on it, probably less), and my headers (Jethot coated new a year ago). You can take the exhaust system too, though i would suggest getting another ypipe built.. my ex-exhaust guy screwed me over (i will post pics if asked - it works, just not that wonderfully - restricting).

Price: I dont know what to ask because im not sure what some parts would have costed (my dad is very good friends with the guy who built me the motor and he got a lot of parts at a discount or at cost) and I got labor for free.... so here is my best attempt.

Engine: $2500obo (Air filter/carb and down, just not front acc. like alternator and etc)
Headers: with motor - $50, without - $150
Exhaust: with headers and motor only : $100

So if you want to take the engine + all exhaust it will be $2650obo.

I have a 700r4 that operates smoothly and beautifully that I am willing to sell. It was rebuilt around 7500 miles ago (OD went out right before i bought it, the previous owner took it to a reputable shop to have it done, cost him over $500). I am asking $600obo for it.

I have a 7.5" 10bolt for sale that was rebuilt with (all new) Moser hardened axles, an Eaton posi unit, a Motive 3.73 gearset, a Timkin installation kit, and a MAC girlded rearend cover. It also has limited slip additive (GM). I will clean up and give it a good coating of POR-15 and put new brakes (which are drums) on it before someone buys it, if anyone has any interest in it. I am asking $1000obo. EDIT:: I forgot to mention that there is only 500 miles on the rearend since rebuild.

Sorry the post is so long. I am located is Boscobel WI and the only things i am willing to ship (unless someone wants to go freight, which i will expect the buyer to pay for) are the headers.

You can reach me at jthmeffy@gmail.com or call me at 608-485-1227 anytime. If I dont pick up, just leave a detailed message and your number and I will get back to you ASAP.

Serious offers only please and thank you guys a lot for your time.

Price drop again.. I am now asking $2000obo for the engine or $3000 for everything... I'm pretty short on cash, offer me something.. lol

I will also take a trade for a decent sportsbike, cruiser, or standard motorcycle...

I have jet-hot ceramic coated hooker 2460 headers. Conncected to them is a custom y-pipe and a hooker 3" catback exhaust system..
Here is an audio clip right after the car was started in the morning (idle is a tad high)
Here is an audio clip with a rumble and a bit of the throttle

wow... pretty much no interest? yikes. Well, i'm in between jobs right now (no one seems to be hiring either) so.. I'm dropping the price to $1500. This is the last drop.. if i dont get any offers then i'll stop trying to sell it..

Are you willing to sell the hooker catback exhaust system seperately, also might be interested in headers. Could you posts pics or email to yoshi_son18@hotmail.com
Thanks, John

The y-pipe is nothing special (in fact, it down right sucks) but it does work.. Unfortunately, my exhaust guy, when he fabricated the y-pipe, welded it to the catback, so i would have to saw-zaw it apart and who-ever recieved it would have to weld it or clamp it or something.. anyway, here are pics
