Car finally passed smog. Tags good until 10/12 Need to sell because of home remodeling project. Asking $4000 or OBO Open to resonable offers.

The test tech said it was fluctuating between 6 & 8 BTDC. The final test results show 8 BTDC when the car was set @ 6. :confused: They did not fail the car for timing. So try 4 BTDC and drop another...

Yes they do. What is kind of strange is test result shows 8 BTDC. The Tech said it was fluctuating between 6 & 8 BTDC?? So I guess it is who has the more accurate timing light? Do not know of any...

Actually I'm going to set the timimg @ 4 BTDC. Someone else did that and it passed.

I got my 1991 Z28 in November 2007 as a project car. It had no engine. 164,xxx on the clock.

Spent over $7K so far and it still needs dash pad / shift plate / headliner.

Re: kyb Struts - Cant tighten the nut to the ram

There is a hex shape on top of the tube bolt. Use an allen wrench to hold the tube in place then you can tigthen the nut. Hope this helps.
