Not sure but you may be able to go to Ohios Bmv website and enter the vin number and get previous owners name and possible address. hope this helps

Sounds like the problem I had .There is a round valve with vacuam hoses hooked to it on the back of your heater control that goes bad and lets vacum escape and makes it make that hissing noise it has...

You didnt say what temp the fan was coming on I have a 91 z with the 5.7 and my fan wouldnt kick on till around 275 degrees turned out to be the fan switch was broken the one between the back two...

Have you changed the fan switch most people change to a aftermarkt one I got one that comes on at 200 degrees off at 160 sems to be working pretty well stock usally comes on at anywhere between 230...

It may sound stupid but have you checked under the car to make sure your air dam is still on your car? You may also check your timing not sure if being to fast would cause it to overheat or not.

Autozone or any parts store should have it or try gm parts direct or napa. Just make sure u connect the right hose back to the right connection on th new one.

Check the wiring to the solenoid make sure none are broken or burnt.If that dont work since its standard shift put it in gear and rock it back and forth maybe jammed in between two teeth on flywheel...

Gold plating means it is plated with gold like a watch or necklace. The only things I can think of right now are 1. starter needs shimmed 2. bad solinoid or your vats system. Hope this helps.

Yea. I would inspect all hoses replace any you dont trust. I think I would flush system again check fins on rad look at weep hole on water pump. Then if everything checks out ok fill with 50/50 mix...

Thats your heater control valve it controls coolant to heater core if you dont want heat just remove it and block lines connected to it if not get longer hose and vacuam lin to move it.

If it was me I would go with stock new not reman. With the upgrades you have planned more money for it or unless you plan on doing a lot of burnouts. Plus you can get pressure plate too.
