Im running a carb. intake and i have been researching the lunati voo-doo cams. any thoughts on those? also i know I'm going with mechanical flat tappet.

If the engine idles well and doesn't sound like it has problems and will rev up in park then I agree I think it is the trans not shifting right check your linkage 700r4's have the adjustable cable...

I'm using Duct Tape, I figure 3-4 loops will do the trick...

but if that don't work the B&M mounting bracket I bought from jegs for a crisp benjamin should be suitable given the Duct Tape fails.

I'm doing the exact same thing with my '87 Z-28 and yes you will have to get those extra inches in the driveshaft i dont think it is exactly 3 inches though its more like 2 3/4 but the machine shop...
