wiring is your only major difference. But wiring is wiring, there are write ups that are easy to follow so it really wouldnt be much harder. I would have put an LS2 in my rx7 if i could have got...

are you can use an LS1 computer and Wiring harness on an LS2 if you swap the sensors from the ls1 into the ls2 and use the ls1 throttle body. All the accessorys are interchangable. I would use LS1...

yeah I want to keep it factory blue with some new decals. My 88 had the lighter blue, I definitely like this darker blue much more.

98-2000 (possibly 01 also) LS1 engines came with composite head gaskets from the factory. I know cause I had to scrape it off my block/heads. I got the GM Performance MLS gaskets to replace them...

yeah I have stock manifolds going to 2 1/2 pipes that x then run back together into a dual inlet dual outlet muffler that baiscally has nothing in it. So you can definitely hear the V8 its not too...

The wight balance being changed from the rotary is a commen misconseption about this swap. the LS1/t56 combo is actually 50lbs lighter than the Twin Turbo Rotary...
