Re: Help with weatherstrip leak

Have you checked the rear hatch seal? Sounds like it might be the culprit especially since the rear was parked higher than the fron, the hatch wouldn't be draining properly.

I will take this opportunity to say I'm amazed at how the paintwork turned out for rattle cans. Also, up until your very last video I thought the top was the same brown as the...

Re: 1984 Trans Am from Derelict to Driver

Well, in my case my Trans Am was my first car when I was 15 years old. It's an '87 that's had a rough life. The previous owners hacked up the wiring and vacuum lines pretty good. There's a lot of...

Nice job. I'm starting to watch your videos now. Maybe it will inspire me to do whatever it takes to fix mine instead of finding just finding one in better shape.

It's been too long

My first car was a 1987 Trans Am. The previous owners hacked it up pretty good (or bad, as the case may be).

It didn't last me long before I had to stop driving it but I loved that car. Several...

Re: Sinking Bumpers

This idea makes the most sense to me than any other option suggested... aside from the stiffer aftermarket bumper, but it seems to me that would even sag over time.

Soon I will start making...

Yeah, they're not supposed to be painted anything but flat black. However, I'm going to paint them when I paint my car. Just my preference, and the PO's too.

Do you only have the motor? Or do you have the whole regulator? It's probably the regulator that's going bad.

Sadly, GM doesn't put a plug in the jamb to make it easy. You have to disconnect everything from inside the door, feed it out, and reverse the process for putting the new door on.

Dieseling is when the car continues to run (although very roughly) after you turn it off from being too hot. Is that what it's doing? And have you tried adjusting your idle speed screw lower?
