In my case, hard starting when warm was fixed by replacing the pickup coil in the dist. Could also be the ignition module. Try the pickup coil first.

Has anyone ever changed a wheel bearing on an iroc before? Is it straight forward? Does the bearing have to be pressed out or something? Torque specs?

I have the same problem. Lots of pressure..also when the engine gets really hot, the tank starts humming. Also, strong fuel smell.

It's like a humming sound right? It's the pressure in the gas tank...if you remove your gas cap, it releases the pressure and goes away. It comes back within seconds on my car as well. I was told...

88 IROC paint bubbling

I have a few areas where the paint is bubbling up. It's rust of course, right? Has anyone got rid of rust that hasn't come back? Any testimonials.

Did you replace starter yourself? Did you have to remove the y pipe? Anyways, can you pull any codes as of yet? Maybe your computer is the problem. Just a thought.

I believe you need a new MAF sensor. You can try the relays first though. No codes huh?

Maybe the starter was old and it finally gave up because of all the cranking. So the car runs with the MAF disconnected right? It might not run well but it runs?

Check ECM fuse on passenger side fender. It's also the fuel pump fuse.

Yes, as soon as I start the car, one or both fans come on and stay running. Even with the car off and ignition on, passenger side fan comes on...
