Has anyone run the tpi throttle body without coolant run through it?
Im getting ready to put a Holley Stealth Ram setup on my 87 Iroc .
I have a 58mm throttle body and I would like to run it without the coolant in the tb. Any opinions?

Also modify ( install fittings and make lines, including the regulator).

I think Im going to just buy the intake and see. Ive seen people modify the stock rails and add fittings. I guess ill find out. Im ordering it tomorrow. Ill post results and pictures( if modification...

I got a mild gear drive set, i love the gear drive sound and want it to sound different. I usually pull the motor every year or so anyway :) just wondeeing about the knock sensors

Drain the block and radiator, refill, let it get to normal operating temperature then once the thermostat opens fill the radiator the rest of the way up

I am talking about the 1987 and up intake bolt pattern. The four inner bolts are at a different angle then the 1986 and older.

My car has G92 in the glove box decal. It was
my understanding that it was the australian 9 bolt posi rear (G92=performance rear package) if you have a posi 10 bolt - you should be happy!

Flush it, and pressure test your cooling system to find the leak. The rusty stuff is from the cast iron (block heads ect) when it over heats it frees up the rust.

You need to properly shim the ring and pinion .

Also make sure your distributor rotor is pointing to cylinder one on cap when cylinder one is at top dead center on compression stroke.
