Just trying to save him some money instead sinking all kinds of money in to a set of L98 heads when he could purchase a set of after market proven heads for the same or less money with lot less...

I would think it will be cheeper and much easyer to buy a good set of after market heads that you know going to do what you want to do.

Just think have the heads machined for larger valves and...

Like I said before if I knew about Profiler this the heads I would of purchased rather than my Trick Flows better bang for the buck.

I not putting Down AFR heads but I still think Profiler can be...

You can get 400 HP out a 305 350 383 there no replacement for displacement basicly it's much easyer to make the power with more Cubes.

You can get the power out a 305 but it will take a wilder...

If you want to go Cheep go to the Junk Yard fine your self a low milage 350 out what ever put a hotter cam in it and call it good, I would find a roller motor my self you can reuse the lifters and...

I have Trick Flows super 23 and 195 runners on my 383 they work good.

But If I was going to buy anouther set it would be a set of Pro-Filers they are the best bang for the buck.

I wish I knew...

If I was you go full Roller Rocker Arms 1.6 for the LT4 Hot cam.

If your going to spend the money get all with the 1.6 RRA the full RRA's will let use the extra 20 to 30 more HP due less friction...

Just curious which roller rocker arms are you using.
I using Comp Cams Ultra Pro Magnum 1.6 Steel Full roller rocker arms.
They cost a little more but at least I don't have to worry about them...

I read other running a LT4 Hot cam in a 350 with a stock ECM and it much larger what you have.

You have to buy a new Crank it is time to build a 383 they cost the same as a 350 crank.

You just make sure you get one you can use the 5.7 rods piston set are not all that much money If you go...

If you go run a stroker motor Like I am this will bring the RPM range of the cam down lowwer it kick in about 1200 sign off around 5300 or so it a great street cam.

But the bigger the motor...

Lingenfelter 219 is a good cam but pricey theres other brands out there with almost the same grind for less money.

I went cheep my self $210.00 for a GM LT4 Hotcam compaired to doube the price...

The reason I went rooler the Block I had was cracked the new block was a roller block out of a truck it was not tapped for the Cam plate and the liffter spiders that was a a easy do it our self fix....

When I put a new 355 mild built motor into my car it was OK but something just was not the right combo it would run but I though it should had more *** behind it.

Thinking about it a guy at work had his L98 rebuilt bearings rings hone for around $700.00.

I know you need heads my T/F heads were $1100.00 + I had to put diffrent vavle springs now for the LT4...

You have to change the intake manifold base for the vortec heads.

I looked at this motor my self but it dont have the heads that pass CA smog.

Thats whyI built my own motor combo.
