i checked the brake booster line by dscounting it and plugging it
i smoked the vacuum lines to find a leak and nothing

turned out to be a grounded wire that goes...

yeah i have the air choke the engine warms up to operating temps and it still does it ive filded around the choke a little today and no luck should i look into replacing the choke
i can get one...

i adjusted the choke the other day cause of the weather change and it was fine until this morning it seems like my throttle is stuck...

so 65 psi mim and 95 psi max is to high? thats what the specs on the fuel pump were and the same for the fuel pump for the 91 cadi

i was going through recipts from the owner before me of my 82 firebird and found out when he replaced the fuel pump he replaced it with a fuel pump from a 87 firebird as it says on the recipt which...

Another question if the rings are truley shot would lucas oil stabilizer or thicker oil help ive been running 10w30

To asnwer most questions on here
The engine is a 2.5l ironduke thats whole other story why its in a fbody
But Im loosing oils by it be squirted out out of the air breather and top of the oil...

Ive been having high crankcrase pressure and wants to blow oil out of the weakest gasket or now up the ol dipstick and out the top or air breather

That being said the pcv valve has been replaced...

I did a compression check and the rings check out fine
I went through rebuilt the throttle body installed a new pcv valve with a catch can...

Is it safe to use in older engines instead of on convential oil? If so would you recommend it? My instructors at school say it is but we dont work on older vechiles past 2000 so I never seen it...

my 82 fbird 2.5 like to blow oil out and engine fumes
first it was just the air breather(rings arent bad cause theres no oil on my plugs)

then i rigged an oil catch can from the valve cover hole...

From my experience from overheating and running a car hot you can burn out your spark plugs to the point they need to be replaced. Thats just what it sounds like to me.

I replaced the factory muffler with a cherry bomb turbo i got on ebay for dirt cheap on my 82 firebird did a test crank up with out the tail pipe and sounded great installed the tail pipe and sounded...
