Yeah, there is a ton of stuff that could cause it. Not a lot of replacement parts out there either unfortunately. So, it's cleaning and replacing lines and, pods. I used a canister purge solenoid...

be sure the block is properly grounded. One cable from the neg batt to the chassis, one from the chassis to block, one from the block to the firewall. Sounds exactly like what I had one do to me.

I'd say it sounds like the distributor O ring. This is a fairly common place to loose oil from the back of the block.
