GM doesn't make parts, really. They have supplies. Been that was for many decades. Even when GM had companies which made parts, they were still getting them from somewhere..

Some used the Ford part (1987 cars, perhaps?) but not the 1989. 1989 used a specific part, as pictured. OP is long gone, so who knows if they ever found their housing.
