i have the same problem. ive narrowed it down to the IAC (idle air control) and left bank motor mount. it could be simply time for a rebuild, too. (i got 160000+ miles)

i think 410s are way too steep for that setup. have fun tryin to get traction. stay in the 3.xx gearing range, and you should be fine for that trap speed.

My truck does the same thing. Its not the trans, cuz i got mine rebuilt and didnt do anything for it. It idles pretty high, around 700 when warm. Im pretty sure ive narrowed it down to the IAC.
