Charged battery and have battery booster attached so plenty of juice.

The fuel lines do run under the vehicle to the rear, so I guess its plausible, though I dont know why they would cause noise as such. Maybe with rubber...

Note that the metal arm rest bracket underneath the arm rest for them is also different. Youve got to swap them also which involves drilling the rivets out. Just FYI if your thinking of the swap.

Agree with what was stated, the shop should have checked to see if the system could hold a vacuum with the proper gauges. If it can, there should be no leaks. This is before they fill it up.

Cleaned out the port and reassembled. Based on the age look of the crud it appears its not a new issue.

Still get some smoke and can see wet oil come out of that port. Not very much smoke, but...

-Inspected the flexplate (looks fine)
-Unplugged each injector individually, still had noise. (hope that rules out a rod knock or internal engine...

FINALLY i got it out, believe it or not i used a dremel cutting wheel to trim it into a hex head shape and fit a 15mm over it. once that was on it...

well just tried that and the bit broke within half a second. so now ive also got a piece of bit lodged in the head of the bolt.

hey thanks for the idea.

i twisted two more T45's (supposedly stronger versions) and the bolt hasnt moved at all but started to strip the bolt. i pounded in a T47 and that thing is twisting also....
