i applaud your diligence. that is a lot of work just to keep the oe ecu. have you considered using the 411 ecu and hp tuners with 24x/1x and cnp? Or are you subject to emissions compliance testing?

Those are either auto bins, or have been modified the axcn bin is for the 1991 mn6 cars, and is the one I need. No way in hell they left the factory with that much timing at low rpm high kpa. Thanks...

Yep, because they had less compression. The 90-91 l98 was a true 10.28:1 scr. They were rated higher power too.

its a 385. over 10:1 scr, dcr over 8:1 the seat to seat duration is low, 58* of overlap i can throw 32* at it and get kpa to drop to 52-51 kpa, but thats not a long term fix. ive leaned it out...

felpro race gaskets with sleeves to help prevent overtightening, and a quality valve cover should seal it. if blow by is causing it look into some sort of crankcase vacuum pump.
