Re: Austin area body shop suggestions?

That sounds like a good idea. I've never heard of them. Do you have any contact info on that? I googled them and there is no website or business listing.

Austin area body shop suggestions?

I have an 89 GTA that needs painting. It has some surface rust from where the paint has separated from the primer but it is pretty straight otherwise. But I'm from SC so I have no connections here,...

Kind of old but I found this looking for info like the OP's question.

It is my understanding that there IS emission testing in a half dozen or so counties in TN.

Re: Any one have a stock loc. Dry Cell Batt?

That's what the search is for!

Unfortunately, it is hard for me to answer this. About a year ago, I thought that the battery had failed. It did however still read 12.6v. I bought a new battery for...

Re: from auto to manual transmission

I have tried quite a few wiz-bang clutch kits in the past. Even custom performance disk with high tech materials that cost a fortune. Those will grab harder for sure but they're hard to drive. Not...

Re: from auto to manual transmission

You're not really gonna be able to toughen the tranny up. Ford motorsports has probably gotten the most you can get out of a fatory T5 and I think it's rated at like 350ftlbs. But that rating is...

Re: Timing advance in neutral

What they I've been hearing, the 20-22degs would be the total max advance. Usually in my carb days with HEI and vacuum advance I'd have like 38degs total but that was with crappy 1970 BB Olds heads.

Re: How can you tell if a distributor is 'one tooth off'?
