Is it still chained?

I think it is binding on the chain.

You do not need the compressor.

Keep the jack under the a arm and remove the chain.

Follow the original directions.

You can use a chain.

A rope is faster. I can not tie a chain.

Also a chain large enough to work may cause problems between the coils by not allowing them to compress or either getting stuck.

In looking at your pictures it appears that the cap is not wired correctly. I am trying to trace the wires and cant follow the 18436572 firing order.

NO THE CAP DOES NOT CARE HOW IT IS WIRED WITH...

I would try bumping up the front tires to 36 psi and the rears to 34 psi. I ran this combo on an all stock 91 z28 to balance the handling and help cure a push. This will help the front tire life...

Jack up the front of the car as high as you can get it.

Put jack stands on the "frame rails" that tie into the unibody. Jack stand must be put of the way of the from suspension.

I have fancy longacre gages, toe plates stings etc. and such.

But this method will work...
