IDK, I used the 3M primer on the deck and on the glass. Then used the Urathane adheisive..not silicon. We'll see. I know the stuff is a biatch to get off the primered glass and deck when dry.🤣

Yes it is. 30k miles. And its HEAVY! The Flame Red GTA has the Hawks fiberglass. Way lighter.

Not really. Just make sure you have a helper when removing strutts and when you support the glass. I used boxes with a blanket over it. And when you do the alignment, have hatchin its down position...

Here ya go. Straight outta the Camaro/Firebird Shop Service Manual. Go slow, take your time, use a torque wrench, and be safe!!! Good luck. Maybe Mods can make a sticky.

On line, 3M products. Primer first, Urathane second. Follow directions to the Tee. Use primer within 7 dats of opening. I have one more 3rd gen to do. About $70 bucks. It works!...

That's what I done. Only I started with 200 grit then 600, 800, 1000 and then hit it with Mothers Mag polish.

The mothers or Maguire's miniball work great with compound then the polishing...

I bought mine from Hawks 2 years ago. We had to do some prepping/sanding and sanded the third brakelight housing a bit. Overall great fit and finish. It depends on prepwork of the spoiler. On and off...

Yes, thats my understanding. If the cars system cant keep it cool with the primary fan...like sitting in traffic....if temp continues to climb, the secondary fan will kick on at the temp switch...
