honstly when i got the car running(about 3yrs ago) i modified my stock tune with just the basics to get the car running it is by no means tunned yet! you see i was in the proccess of buying a house...

i am using an AEM gauge the wide band takes the place of the stock o2 and the gauge has an output to send a narrow band signal to the ecu so you dont have to install a 2nd bung in the exhaust plus...

i dont think the twin nozzle plate is avail any more, at least all the pics of the plate system now all show it as being the "spray bar type", should i even consider this style? by the way i am...

you dont NEED to upgrade but it does help a lot their are a few updates in the
89 tune that GM put in but the car will run without it..i am using a 89 corvette tune in my car the HSR likes more...

so basicly go into the maf tables and increase the values to get the a/f ratio to were it should be??? and then continue to adjust the tables after its in closed loop to get the blm's as close to 128...

you are correct the large flywheel/pressplate setup wont fit........if you want to put the biggest clutch that will fit, mcleod makes a kit to put an 11" disk on a 153 tooth flywheel that should fit ...

if the trans was overfilled when it reaches norm temp the fluid expands and will come out any where it can....dip stick,vent tube etc. pay close attention to the dip stick instructions
