All the guide plates I have seen so far are open ended. Is that gonna make a difference on these heads where instead of haveing small slotted or circle holes it's wide open between them?

Thank you for the reply. If the 220cfm heads are wrong for the LT4 cam, what would you suggest? The 487 heads are 76cc, from what I can tell, but don't know about the flow.

They are selling new pro comp alum. heads 220cfm, 64cc, 2.02/1.6... on ebay for $650.00/pair or less shipped. Where do you want to go from there? I'm looking for a set of heads to do my lt4/tpi...
