um maybe i just missed it but have you changed intake manifolds or changed the natural geometry of the tv cable(means it has is higher lower more forward or backwards from the stock location?

um i didnt even mess with it i dont think. i dont have the neutral saftey switch but who cares just watch what your doing. install was about 5 hrs though.

sorry to say this but i would still bet money your a tooth off or it is a vacuum leak doesn't really seem like it can be anything else. Check the carb seals though just encase you have a leak there.

Well i think I'll add my $0.02 to this aswell. I run the xe268 in a 350 tbi and my converter stalls at 2200 and I have 3.42 gears. The first suggestion I have is to go with a higher LSA. Tunning mine...

ok cause i think my motor came out of a 93 1500 chevy pickup 350 and the timing cover is set up for 1:30 indicator. Can I just get a balancer for the 1:30 position cover?

i used the correct tool, no hammers here. are you saying that on a 92 the timing indicator is not at the 2 oclock position?

i would start with 800 actually. it's too damn easy to sand through with 400-600. Start with 800 at the coursest. Then go over with 1200, then follow up with some polish and a buffer. Glass baby....

you can wet sand before the clear, BUT i would mainly suggest this because of how much peel you have, You do not have to generally you clear right after paint and well clear is much more forgiving...
