Doesn't mean properly, I believe CCC go into a rich state when the ECM is missing, I could be wrong. You will also lose your timing advance (not a huge problem to overcome).

Including the price of the transmission from a salvage yard. Looking at around $400 is what we got in the swap. The B&M kit is $100 alone.

A buddy and I recently completed this swap in an 82 Firebird that originally had an TH200C. The swap is pretty straight forward. You will need the expensive torque arm bracket. I used the B&M kit....

I recently did the swap in an 82 Firebird that had the same engine but a th200c. You will need a kit for the torque arm. B&M sells the kit for $100 that will let you use your torque arm and 700r4...

We are actually keeping the TH350 since it actually has a 9" tail shaft. We don't care about gas mileage at all. We are going back to the salvage yard to pickup the rest of the parts we need. We will...

Alright I got an 82 Firebird thats a wiring mess. I'm finding a hard time finding a pinout for the 82's C100 but I found an 85's. Any similarities? Differences? Any info is appreciated.

I believe the EST bypass is next to the MAP sensor; I found a thread about the location of the EST and it looks like 91-92 (all models) have similar wiring harness. The 92 Service manual does not...

I never installed it technically I paid someone $290 to cut off my cat and put a 2.5" down pipe from the y pipe back to a flowmaster 80series. Complete waste of money should of just replace the...

:iagree:I agree, whats wrong with the stock muffler imo they sound the best :P haha. blowmaster sound horrible when your car is cold. I suggest just keeping it stock you will see no performance...

Thank you for sharing that clip, don't take offense, this is more of an opinion. I actually think the Flowmaster sounds better. But Dynomax has the cleanest sound.

If I remember correctly due to the lack of back pressure using 3" it hurts performance more than gain? I don't think it will sound good with 3" exhaust :2cents: I have not done a search on what 3" v6...
