If I replace the posi unit, would it be worth going to the eaton offered on jegs or just replace it with another auborn. And what seals or bearings would need to be replaced as well?

i just installed a set of roller rocker arms and want to make sure i preloaded the lifters correctly...

-concentrating on one cylinder at a time (intake and exhaust), i rotated the crank by hand...

A cammed vortec 350 could easily make your 275 numbers your after. There, of course, is other factors that come into play such as fuel/air delivery and exhaust.

If your going none CC carb on a 350 you'll need a vacuum advance distributor. A 350 doesnt need more than a 650cfm. I prefer Holley over edelbrock.

They wouldn't change the vin, or at least I hope not.

Try to get the casting number. Sometimes it's buried under grease and sometimes wires and other random stuff.

To things are conflicting. 1989s didn't come with carbs so unless it was swapped in, you've got the year wrong.
