Honestly I did notice a difference when I first put it in. Car seemed to pull a little harder. Nothing major, but I could tell the difference.

I've never heard of those either. Doesn't sound promising. Besides you can probably get some hooker comp headers from jegs for that or less for a third gen.

Ok, I was not sure if he had the same exhaust set up or not. Also mine has a 350, so the sound may be different. But the flowmaster is pretty good. Did those 82-83's have dual exhaust?

My car has one muffler stock. I have a flowmaster on it, and some tips, and it's pretty loud. Louder than most cars.:nod: ..............bout to put some slp headers on:)

I'm not sure but it sounds like it could be something to do with pressure, or the engine may need to be tuned now. Does it idle a little bit at least before it dies?

Well it is just the transmission and I believe it is LS1 style, so I guess that would be the easier way to go anyway. How can I shorten the driveline?
