A Sig. request, please.
Hi all. I've tried to make a signature and I just gave up. All have to work with is the paint program. So your help would be much appreciated. I would like, Kuulkatdadieo, in cursive letters somewhere in the pic., maybe darken the background a little, and it has to be 150 x 500 pixels. I like the first picture the best, but you can make different ones of the different pictures if you like. THANKS

Re: A Sig. request, please.
That's great man. I really appreciate it. It almost looks like it is going to take off into the sky. You don't know how much I appreciate it. I tried for hours trying to make something worthy. And it was less than par, and not worthy for others to see. But, what you have made is amazing. I'll use it on all the car forums, so your work will be in a lot of places. And if anyone wants to know who did it, I'll tell them who the credit goes to. THANKS again.

Re: A Sig. request, please.
I like yours to. But, the car doesn't look like it belongs. My photo has to many glares and there isn't a sun in that picture to produce the glares on the car. So, it looks like it doesn't belong. But, if you could blend the car in that would be cool. How did you know my favorite color was orange?? lol The Tennessee probably gave it away.![lol](https://www.thirdgen.org/forums/images/smilies/lol.gif)

I like yours, also. Only if I could have two signature pictures. If I can, I would definately have yours on there also. I will keep yours available and change the signature back and forth every couple of weeks. So everyone gets to see a different signature, and put both of you guy's works out there. That is definately awesome and is worth showing.
GREAT JOB

Re: A Sig. request, please.
I could, but I won't. Signatures are limited to 400x100px. Its close enough at 419x100.
Read the forum FAQ if you want. https://www.thirdgen.org/forums/faq-...uidelines.html
Its not a rule, but its obnoxious to take up that much desktop for a signature.
I normally make signatures in 400x75 sizes, you don't need to use that much space to make a good looking sig.
Read the forum FAQ if you want. https://www.thirdgen.org/forums/faq-...uidelines.html
Signature images, attachments, uploaded pictures, and avatars MAY NOT have any scantily clad people in them, anything that is not of good intentions, family friendly, or work friendly. Please do not attach images or other files which have no bearing on a thread and do not attach images of your car in every post. If your sig is more than 5 lines of text, or contains an image greater than 30k or 400x100 pixels, please do your best to reduce it's size. Not everyone has a high speed internet connection. There are options for turning off sig viewing, but members actually like to view your signature so they know a little about your car.

Get a bigger screen lol if 500x100 takes up alot of your desktop. Also if you go to your user panel it says 500x100 is maximum size.

Re: A Sig. request, please.
I've done nearly 250 signatures for people on these forums alone, not including what i've done for other forums which brings the total closer to 800. And with all of them I held to a 400x100 format and people were STILL happy with them. There are also several others who have done so within the 500x100 limits.
I don't need my signature to speak for me, my posts can do that well enough. If people want to see more of my car they can click on the signature and view the galleries I have no matter how outdated they are right now.

Re: A Sig. request, please.
Hows 2 21" monitors at 1600x1200 each for screen space? Oh, and its hooked up to the 52" HD tv that does 1920x1080 when I feel like browsing from the couch. As for internet speed how about a downloads in excess of 1600 kiloBYTES per second. No, screen space is not my issue, nor is connection speeds. How about just being respectful and holding to the limits requested by the forum.

Re: A Sig. request, please.
Stuff like what? if you examine your sig text and all its way over 500x100 so i dont understand why you would have anything to say against my post. If its because i said get a bigger screen it was a joke, i mean how many people you know that still view the internet at 800x600? It would seem that 17"-19" flat screens are the norm now, i have respect for the forum and the rules but sometimes people go a little out side the rules. Its like your telling me you respect the local laws where you live and never exceed the speed limit.

Re: A Sig. request, please.
17 to 19" lcd's typically have a resolutions of around 1280x1024 for a 4:3, and for the 16:9's they are typically 1440x900.
Which means with 150px tall sigs you can fit only 6 on the screen vertically. Include a few lines of text plus the formatting people normally have and that means that you don't get that much on the screen really.
Its just nicer to make the signature smaller vertically because then it keeps the threads shorter.
As for sigs, this is what i've done, all at 400x"n" sizes. Some are 400x75, some 400x100. http://home.comcast.net/~wjrneo2/signatures/index.htm Anything with a Matt "bright green" in the image is for transparency in GIF files. Photoshop converted the image to jpg which doesn't support transparency so thats why it shows up green.

kuulkatdadieo, I don't have the PSD file anymore. Didn't save it and it got wiped out so I only have the compressed jpg image.

Lots of nice work we have somewhat similar style
. I understand your argument and will try and reduce the size of anything else i make from here on out, but if someone request a bigger sig i will probably do it lol and let the moderator slap him around
.
Again nice work.
