Cheap Mods/Improvements

Cheap Mods/Improvements
I already plan on putting some kyb gr2 shocks in the rear and a throw on a wonder bar... maybe some polyurethane bushings... what else would really improve handling/suspension for the least amount of money. is there any mods that can be done for free to improve the suspension? any suggestions will help.

suspension mods are not cheap...if you are looking for doing cheap suspension mods, you are going to be hurting later on down the road. i am not even done with my front suspension and i have already put about $450 into it.

The next closest thing to being free is to box your LCA's and panhard rod. After that you are going to have to fork over some dead presidents to improve your ride.

Check out the homebrew subframe connectors in the fabrication forum, might be a possibility if you have access to a welder.

GR2 shocks for the rear are junk. I've went through 2 pairs in 2 years. They are cheap for a reason I think. I have stock springs so that could have causes premature wear. I am going to try a set of the gas-a-just KYBs for the back since I get a lifetime warranty from work on them.
The gr2 struts seem to be doing fine. I am replacing them with another set when I do my spring/front end rebuild in a week or so.
