Re: competition engineering subframe connectors any good?
Depends on which ones your looking at. I origionally purchased the competition engineering kit with the cross bar and the guy who did my install said it was overkill since the floor pan would have to be cut and that particular kit was more for a roll cage setup. He installed UMI's sfc's for me and I couldn't be happier.
Re: competition engineering subframe connectors any good?
Great to hear that you are satisfied with the quality of products that UMI Performance has to offer! Just another option for you to consider. We do offer a weld on SFC and below is a link to show you what we have to offer!
Re: competition engineering subframe connectors any good?
I have just started researching SFC's. I am wanting to get a set ASAP. However, I do not want them to compromise the "stock" look my car has. Can they be seen from eye level?
Re: competition engineering subframe connectors any good?
HI, I have a camaro with competition engineering 247-3111 connectors. IMO they are the most beneficial ones the market. They tie in well with the front sub frame and in the rear LCA area. Now they are advertises as bolt on ones but many guys like myself weld them in for additional strength. The main Con is the fact that you can not use the factory exhaust routing but I felt that was a small price to pay to try to prevent body damage with a health SBC. Another great thing about these is they offer great lift points (stand point) for the car you don’t have to worry about damaging you car. The pictures attached are of them on my car I have had them on for 5 years and yes they make a very noticeable difference in chassis stiffness.

Hello
We offer it in 3 pieces to allow you place it anywhere away from the exhaust you want so there is no clearance issues. If you have any other questions feel free to ask.
Thanks
