89 Trans Am GTA Suspension Restoration and Hawks 17" Wheels

Took some time this weekend to renew and upgrade the suspension on my GTA a bit.

- KYB Excel-G Struts - 236001
- KYB Gas-A-Just Shocks - KG5562
- Moog Front Springs - 5662
- AC Delco Rear Springs - 45H3025
- KYB Strut Mount - SM5027 and SM5028
- MOOG Sway Bar End Links - K5252
- BMR Strut Tower Bar - STB003
- Hawks 17" Wheels - 275/40/17 Firestone Firehawk Indy 500

Wonder bar, sway bar bushings and painting the sway bars are next. Also going to fully detail the underbody of the car.

I have almost that exact set up too and really works great, especially for a cruiser.

If I may ask...why the mix of Moog and ACDelco springs front and rear?

I love it, comfortable driving and easy enough to toss into a corner and it'll take it.

No real reason, I just wanted stock replacement upgrades that would maintain stock ride height. So the Moogs are much more firm and definitely more responsive it seems. The rears are AC Delco variables, so they're an upgrade, but pretty mild and stock.

So no, no real reason, just kind of picked what I liked and what I wanted. I figured Moog and AC Delco are on par in terms of quality.
