LT4 Hot Cam - LT4 or LS6 Springs?

I plan on installing the LT4 Hot Cam. The heads are GM vortec, already machined and installed with screw in studs.

Current springs are unknown and were originally installed in special ZZ5 vortec heads from Pace Parts bought on cleareance. I broke one of the studs and bent a push rod, for no apparent reason, after the heads installed. Engine runs rough but ok. Want to eliminate the springs as the engine issue.

LT4 are cheaper, $39, but the LS6 are also fairly cheap, but I need to use the Comp Cams 787-16 keepers.

Any ideas?

LT4 springs are adequate for the LT4 production cam, but not for the LT4 Hotcam.
I can't speak for the LS6 springs.

Find the reason behind the bent Pushrod and broken studs! Things just dont happen like that without reason. Those heads clearanced for the lift? Springs bottoming out?

Ls6 may work but 918 beehives would be better
