Yep, the blower will not let you down. Theres no replacement for displacement but a blower comes mighty close!

Those SOHC 4.6s are slow from my experience. Even with mild mods they are 14 second cars, or if they can't drive, 15 second cars. I am sure someone can find one that ran a 12 sec 1/4 mile stock, but I haven't seen that done, and the ones that I see at the track run mid 14s to high 15s.

Nice kill, a 2002 or 2003 should go in the low 14s, high 13s. Sounds like you should have even pulled more on him, but he very well could have been modded!

Hope you don't mind me posting these pics Cameron. Just letting people see what your car has so they might have a better understanding Here are pics that he posted of his car:
Nice kills lately. I have killed a couple newer GTs that my friends owned. Those cars do respond well to mods though. Good kill.

There was a modded vette running out my area that ran 11.8 at 120mph. He spun thru first bad, just smoking them off. No traction at all. with better driver he could get low 11's just by improving that launch.
25th, Are you a good driver? Is it normal for stangs like yours with your mods to run high 12's? Just wondering cuz everytime someone is talking about cars that can be made to go fast on the cheap, I say 5.0 mustang, cuz I know a guy with one(thats you) with few bolt ons running high 12's. People doubt it.

hmm...I went 13.5 in mine, one of my best friends (Johnny) went 13.9 in his '00, another (Steve) went 13.6 in his '00, another (Andy) went 14.0 in his '00, another (Chris) went 14.2 in his '02, my dad went 14.2 in his '01 automatic. All these times were stock at either Va Motorsports Park or Richmond Dragway. Granted, my friends and I practically live at the track so we're probably all a little above average drivers considering our experience. My first ever pass in my car was a 14.4 after having owned the car for 2 days.

I would say im a good driver (compared to most)...
I know my friend Erics brother went 13.9 in a bone stock vert, another guy went 13.9 (2000' elevation) in a GT with a catback, and still a third (Joe) went 13.9 at that same elevation bone stock. Have seen a ton of low 14s at that elevation, and a few high 13s at Etown as well!

That means no more 40 hour work weeks, which means my income will get cut in half basically. I pay for school out of pocket as well, so something has to give. The Mustang loses this one.
