TPI swap is done, but no Vroom, I think its a fuel problem HELPPPPP

Im wondering if the injectors are firing, in the right order, or if they are firing at all?

Today Im going to try the screwdriver method (put the screwdriver up to the injectors listen for clicking), but I feel pulses on a few injectors when I crank them.

Next, Is there Polarity on Lt1 Injectors?

I was told run all the one side toghether all the other togehter.
Series I belive its called.

I know in car audio that will change resistance levels, so will that cause them not to fire?

My biggest fear is that I have the injectors backwards, and that they are firing on the wrong cycle.

Left fires when Right is supposed to fire.

Any Ideas?

I had a drea, I started it, and I had massive amounts of torque, and reved it out 6500rpm (LOL at 6500rpm, if you all know about TPI)

Also when crank should the injectors kickback a Duty cycle % they seem
to be on zero, but it stutters like it wants to fire.

BTW I have EBL so I can see whats going on, but ive never paid attention to the DC at crank up

Hi
I am gathering that is does nothing but crank. Here is what I would do but do this at your own risk!!!!! I would inject some gas thru the TB and see if it even fires up. Once it fires up, you know the electrical system is good - not the injectors or its wiring. Have you checked to see if you have fuel pressure at the rails? The injector pulse will only be there for a short time, without an O scope - it will be hard to see. I hope some of this helps
thanks

It doesn't really matter when the injectors fire, as they fire in banks and the car would still start if they fired when they weren't supposed to be.

You should post a background to your problem because your post is kind of confusing and I can't understand half of it. If your plugs are super wet I doubt it's a fuel problem.

How is your timing? Sounds like its off a bit. I would reset #1 to TDC and pull the distributor cap and verify the rotor is pointing the right direction.

Hi
I agree with the posting above - Timing maybe an issue based on your comments. You could also check it with a timing light and crank the engine. You could at least see if you are close. Starting to sound like timing not fuel.
thanks

Re: TPI swap is done, but no Vroom, I think its a fuel problem HELPPPPP

maybe you have a vats problem.
you dont say what engine you are working with, and what you swapped from one car to another. you have not even said what cars you are working with.
a little more info and i bet these guys will have it fixed in no time at all.
did the car it came out of have vats? does the car it went into have vats?
did you swap out eveything, every wire and the computer box itself?
they dont mix and match very well.

Re: TPI swap is done, but no Vroom, I think its a fuel problem HELPPPPP

For some reason my pc hates this site, oit so darn laggy and barely works

Well its running the plugs were dead was my biggest thing, and my .Bin file I have loaded is way to rich.

To set the record straight

Its a 358 Gen1 Motor with a 92 TPI setup with a 86 bae. I have EBL SO no Vats.

Now Im having a Compliancy issue, I loaded a new Bin file for a higher idle and it doesnt want to take, sometimes it will kick up sometimes it wont.

Car wants to idle at 600, I said no 800 but it will do it as it wants too.

Could it be beacase the 02 sensor is pegged out, and the plugs are gettign fouled again. I need a new file, But I have no throlttle cable or tv cable. SO i cant do a VE learn, I have no idea how to setup up Fuel tables so im going to let EBL take care of that.

Its in a 92 caprice wagon.

Anyone have any Cables for me Fredericksburg VA 22405 LMK
