Few quirks I could use help with

So I'll start off with what I have...I swapped a '93 TBI long block into my Jeep and swapped on a TPI intake out of a late '88 IROC (the wiring seems to follow the '89 setup for color but doesn't have the VATS system). All this was swapped into my Jeep.

Issue 1: The computer is throwing a code 36. I've went through AllData and checked out all the wiring circuits and they ohmed and voltaged out good. I checked the MAF burn off relay and it ohmed well above the min 18 ohms (upwards of 60). I even swapped the MAF burn off relay with the fuel pump relay and it made no difference in either circuit. The ECU is a brand new reman from the store as well as the MAF sensor. I did get a 33 and 36 code before and replaced the MAF on warranty and code 33 disappeared. This has me kinda lost as to what could be wrong. Does the PROM effect the MAF burn off circuit at all? I'm tempted to swap the MAF in on warranty again to see if anything different happens.

Issue 2: It takes a little while for the Jeep to initially start. I have close to 50 psi of fuel pressure as well as spark. I did delete the 9th injector a while ago and thinking this might be the issue although others have said they did it with no ill effects. The injectors are reman Bosch III 4 port injectors that are only a few months old at most. This is more of a curiosity than an issue really.

Issue 3: The engine doesn't like to idle when cold. The IAC and TPS are brand new as well as I cleaned out the throttle body. I didn't have this issue before swapping to a speed density intake (just the plenum and runners) and bypassing the throttle body coolant passages. I don't see how a speed density setup would make a difference as there is only one extra port on the side, which I plugged. The reason I took it all apart is because I needed to put new plenum gaskets on as mine were leaking and causing a very high idle. When the engine warms up, she idles perfectly around 800 rpms and doesn't even hesitate at all.

I've replaced just about everything during the swap (MAF, ECU, TPS, IAC, IAT, CTS, CTS for gauge, injectors, and I'm sure more that I can't remember off hand). Any help is appreciated since the rest of the Jeep is coming together nicely and this setup is my major issue right now.

what brand is the maf ? People have reported the micro-tech causing the code 33. The memcal unless it is the wrong calibration for a 305 the 86 amu I don't believe any the other calibration threw the maf high code. A mild cam can push the threshold of 45 grams per second.

Re: Few quirks I could use help with

Thanks for the fast reply. The MAF is a Cardone reman, same with the ECU. The memcal comes back to an '88 350 auto. I'm currently running it with a 350 and 5 speed Jeep trans but wired everything so that she starts without an issue and without throwing any codes. The cam is a stock '93 TBI cam, I don't think it's the cam causing the code as it was running for a few months without any issues. Replacing the MAF solved the code 33 but code 36 never went away even with resetting the computer.

Re: Few quirks I could use help with

It stil could be a bad ecm but its common to get the wrong maf power and burn off relays. The code 36 is thrown when the ecm has failed to detect 12V on the black wire going back to ecm pin D12, when the relay is not energized.

Thanks. I'll probe around the wire tomorrow after work to see what I can find out. I appreciate all the help.
