any black intakes out there?
im looking at painting my intake black and im wanting to see if anyone else has done it. thank you!

Mines not black but its red... I sanded the upper manifold down really smooth then put on 3 coats of red engine paint and 3 coats of clear coat engine paint...i think it looks good but i still want to do the lower intake manifold....well i cant seem to upload the pic right now but ill try again in a little bit....sorry!! If you want it to look good and not flake/chip off when working on the engine you should opt for powdercoating, a lot more durable and imo looks better as well.

Here's my red intake... i sanded it and layed down 3 coats of red and 3 coats of clear hight temp paint... its been on for 3 months and looks the same as the day i did it....
