When you look up that size tire on Summit, every tire says to put it on a rim 7.5" to 9.5" wide. So according to Summits site, that wheel is a tad small for that tire. Better off finding some 15x8's.

It'll fit. May look funny. Ideal size is 8-9.5" wheel

Re: will a 275 fit on 7" rim?

My buddy had a 295/50/15 on a stock 15x7 rim.

It was bulged, and looked funny, but it worked.

275 should work "ok".

Re: will a 275 fit on 7" rim?

275 is the tread width measurement in millimeters. 275mm works out to about 11", so in theory the sidewalls are going hang 2" past the lip of the wheels. It might work but it'll be far from ideal.

Typically the small wheel will pull the tire in & you will lose tread contact at the outer edges, so traction will be no better than a tire of the appropriate size. If they are free, then OK, if buying a tire, go with something a little smaller.

A friend of mine (one with no taste) put 295's on 15x7's.
