Hedman headers>>>

I'm thinking of ordering a set of thier 1 5/8" long tubes, but I've heard some bad things about Hedmans. Namely a tendancy for thier flanges to warp badly. Anyone have any input on them?

I'm happy with mine. So far so good. They are rusting out of control, but I suppose that's not their fault.

They are ok. Maybe people tweak flanges from loose heavy exhausts... Swing around and tweak when they are hot...

Jester, I just went to your "stuffy" page. Pretty cool. how come you have such a mellow cam for all of your hard induction work??? With your ported/gasket matched heads and intake and that carb/exhaust set-up, you should easily push a 204/214 w/.420"/.442" or a 214/224 and .442"/.465"???????? GOTTA be worth 25 more hp w/your set-up, man, or my name is mud...

I am happy with mine, it took a little creativity with the gaskets to get them to seal. They were a bitch to get on, I'm not gonna lie to you about that, but they were worth a .1 off of my 1/4 times over T.E.S. headers.

You're absolutly right I'd love to have a 210/218 cam in there, but I got that one for pretty much free, and it beat the peanut cam it came with. I'm not changing it in the future prolly...cause I just wanna go to a 350 or 400. I've sunk enough $$$ into my 250k old 305

I'm with you Jester. I did not know you had so many miles... That a pretty good testament to GM and GM EFI, though...

Part numbers for what? Cams? or headers???
