the ding king?!?!?!

Okay, this may sound like a stupid question, but asking sounds better than wasting money on a body shop... so, has anybody used that stupid DingKing to get rid of dents in their car, and if so, how does it work? I have a few little dents that would be worth spending the $20 if it really works, but of course I have my doubts. Thanks guys,

Steve

It won't do anything to the paint. And it did nothing on my car.

Ding King

Hey there,
I work in the Paintless Dent Repair industry. That Ding King product is a joke. Don,t waste your money. Look in your local phone book for a good dent repair company. Ask to see an example of there work before you let them make a repair. Good Luck

Heh, I bet those comercials film the non dented panel first with them removing the tool making it look like they had just finished. Then they take a hammer, make the dent and show them cranking on the **** pulling it out. Little bit of editing later and viola, lookie what our product can do! It makes dents go away! Just like those scratch removing products, I bet it's some sort of crayon mark they polish away and not an actual scratch.

It pulled out a dent in my dad's motorhome. But it was a shallow dent. And he had to do it 3-4 times. And you could still see it a little. It did a good enough job for him and he thought it was worth the $20.
I have a really badly dented oil pan and a couple of shallow dents in my fender that I'm gonna try it on, but I don't expect much.

i had a pretty bad dent on teh rear quater of my 4th gen camaro vert...and before i sold it i figured what the hell 20$, lets se eif it works...and it did an alright job a a few minor dings that the car had and on the pretty bad ding i had in the rear (backed into a 1500 Pickup) and after about 10-15 tries I had most of the dent out...now anyhting really deep or crumpled the dent king will be trash...something I do suggest is a suctioncup dent puller tool...I bought one and for the longest time I jsut stuck it on the front door for notes or stuck it to the wall to hold keys, and several other misc. hanging ideas I had for it....well one day I used it to pop a pretty long dent outta a firends car and it wroked liek a champ...
