Accel HEI control module
i had two accel control modules sent to me(thru jegs) to fix my problem with killing control modules on my bird(have an accel coil) well the second one didnt work either, so im having jegs send me theirs. word of advice dont buy accel control modules

I don't race mine it's more like a dailey driver so I just tried accell on a lark,now i'm back to stock on all the ignition components.If I was gonna race i'd try msd i suppose.I couldn't tell much of a difference in performance anyway I guess my seat of the pants meter is broke.

I had the same problem with their modules, even when it came in the billet distributor. The modules themselves are cheap and disturbingly faulty, I went through three (under warranty fortunately) before switching back to a stock type. I would never buy that thing again...

my Accel module just died on me yesterday. after about 2yrs. do i go with pertronix or stock standard control module ?

I have never used this set up but allot of guys do. Just click on the link and read through it and it may answer some of your questions. I'm running a AC Delco Control Module and would only change if I was going to install the total MSD system . I say Stock is the answer for most. The article will explain the difference.
