Did a quick run up to Tulsa and purchased a Quik Lift right before everything went to lockdown. So far liking it pretty well. Makes pulling the governor out of the tranny easier, that's for sure. Not nearly as good as a true lift, but some of us are "ceiling challenged." Also not cheap ($1,800 for powder-coated black version with two cross bridges), but I saved ~$300 shipping charge by picking it up in person. This thing is made from HEAVY steel and feels very sturdy. I got a couple of cross bridges with mine that are used as a platform to jack up front and/or back of car so you can pull the wheels off.
Looks nice. Does it lay flat on the ground when not in use?
what’s the dimensions on your shop. Mines 16 wide and either 20-22 long. So I’m limited on space too.
Yes, the front platforms pull away so it sits flat. Plus side, when set flat I can get a floor jack under there; my car is lowered so difficult to do otherwise. My shop is 16 x 28. FWIW, I have the Kwik Lift set at it's longest length. It has three different lengths that you can assemble. Even the shortest length would work for a third gen and would reduce the assembled length by a foot or two.
How do you get the back up with the car on the ramps? I thought you do it with a floor jack under the cross-bar, but it looks like that cross-bar is too low to ground to get a jack under? Or does it twist up by hand and then you slip the jack pad under?
There's a hole in one end of the cross bar that allows you to slip a steel rod in there and rotate it so that it's "up" to jack up the back and then rotates down to provide clearance.
$1800 is too much IMO. My mid-rise BendPak was $2600 with free shipping. Lifts higher and leaves the wheels off the ground. Also flat when it's not in use and "clear floor" all through the middle. Not to mention hydraulic so no "pumping".
I can see this as a suitable solution if you rent, etc and can't cut into your floor for the hydraulics.
...... although I did buy it over 10 years ago so maybe they have gone up. I haven't looked recently. If you can even get one right now with China shutdown.

Prices have definitely gone up a lot with the tariffs I think. Mine was less than $2700 with shipping IIRC. But that was in about 2010. The trend prior to the tariffs was for Chinese products to be on the decline in prices.
I was looking at those, but really want to have the wheels free. Just last weekend I borrowed my buddy's Quickjack and it...was...awesome! Probably about $1800 new, with all the bells and whistles, etc. etc, but he looked for deals and found an open box, warrantied set up for a little over $1000, plus accessories. -For the record, it's not really something you'd normally "borrow", but I wanted to see if it was worth buying, so I went through the hassle of transporting it to my house and back. Oh was it worth it! Highly recommend it.
