you could've just missed or if your like me ignored 1-2 instructions that proved to be important have you tried to put a thin layer of caulking in it to fix it b.t.w. where did you get yours at cause I'm looking for one for my car too

there is a slight chance it might be stock if so you might be able to get new weatherstripping from the dealership or if not there than j.c. whitney www.jcw.com is there link I think or there is hawks I checked them for some other parts but I did notice that they sell weatherstripping I didn't check on sunroof ws cause I don't have one but after I wrote the first reply I did think yours might be stock

some dealer packages included aftermarket sun/moonroofs. my 84 "ZF" model had one. try using some clear silicon underneath the edges. try to pull off the headliner and see how bad the damage is (hopefully it is just a little bit of dried sealer and not rust)

I thought some came stock, still do really but, even if it was installed at the dealership, other dealerships should have gaskets for it, oh btw I found one today for my car they want 50 for it (it's at a junkyard) can't wait til they see that I plan to cut the roof to peices to get it out I figure about 5inches all the way around out to give me enough room to have F-up space cause this will be my first time putting one on a car well I hope you are able to get yours to stop leaking though I did notice that the other guy suggested a caulking gun material as well so that's definately what I'd try if I were you

it doesnt leak under the headliner it comes through between the glass and weatherstriping because the glass doesn't fit the contour of the roof like the housing has done

they have some stuff at wal-mart in hardware it's made for camper tops it you un bolt your sunroof and put that on it (it come in like a 1in think roll looks like an oversize roll of masking tape) and then put your sunroof back on that might work
