HSR adjustable FPR

i have HSR fuel lines and AFPR, install instruction says that i need to connect vacume form intake manifold to AFPR. My car runs with no problem without pluging in this vacume line. My question is what is this for anyway ??

Re: HSR adjustable FPR

Adjusts fuel supply in relation to engine load by changing fuel pressure .
With a stock TPI regulator
At idle ; hi engine vac gives 39 psi pressure.
WOT; low engine vac gives 43psi

Also the Kirban unit...

http://www.kirbanperformance.com/pro...R+%236547.html

The HSR FPR is the same one as used on GNs. I had the famous Holley FPR failure and hit up vatozone for their 29.99 special until the Kirban one came in. Bolted right on (which was nice in a pinch because it was a daily)

I have a slightly used adjustable one if you're interested. It doesn't leak or anything I confirmed with a vacuum pump.
