X2. I just finished getting mine done. Complete...w/extra gaskets. If this is a real thing....I'd trade the exclusivity of the T-Ram for $4500 (or even better, 9k) in a second....
It sure is. There is also some cool history to this T-ram, it was used the the TPI mega test magazine story and the video.
It has the standard length runners so it doesn't show a bit more rpm/hp like the firehawks modified intake would. They have their paired runners cut back a bit and the press firehawk upper has even less length . https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=B3Je...ature=emb_logo
i dont know what happen to his content he was last doing tpi intake on a gen 2 baby lt1 he was also gonna put lt1 and lt4 heads on both lt1 and baby lt1 along with the tpi
but yeah there two different types of plenums and the tanks aswell the runners are cut back shorter and the tanks that i have on the shorter plenum tram have a plate welded on the corners to make the air turn into the plenum easier
rich didnt do the tram justice here in the 10 times torque article b/c hes also using the stock 48mm TB where as the rest of the high HP intake test hes using 58s
imo the tram is worth around 2-2.5k shipped thats a fair price imo
the problem is no one is selling theres for that not even close if you look at the wtb threads in here theres no leads or any of the notable members in here that have more than one intake willing to sell theres for that price even 4k-5k so the buyer is put in a situation that they have to pay high numbers once a high number is established most future sales go for that price
imo also having run most all intakes on your typical SBC 350 with mild upgrades including the tram its not a worthy upgrade intake wise compared to a tpi you lose quite a bit of bottom end and the intake itself is one of the heaviest, if your combo is set up below 55k and auto stay with TPI if you want the feeling of the tram go with a stealthram
imo the tram worth is solely for cloning or novelty if not cloning
anyone have a callaway 100 plus intake there willing to sell?
Always liked this intake. I've been looking here and there but I'm never in right place/right time. Someday. They do still have a few parts on their web site from those cars.

I agree with you on this. Other than someone decided to pay the I don’t want to sell it price so now apparently they are worth 5k and now everyone is willing to pay 5k personally I’d pay 3k max. But I need one not just want one so maybe go more if there was something special about it.
No was advertised as one but it isnt. It gas a plaque on it stating what it is. Some kind if cystom fabbed thing but its eery close to a 100+ in fact the base is pretty much the same
Had a couple cams 3D printed to test the file. I'll need to have a few small adjustments made to the file before sending it off to have some machined. At any rate, it is one step closer.

I think that I'm going to throw mine up for sale. I've LUSTED after the T-Ram for decades, but after finally getting one, installing it and driving it....IDK. It's super cool, but I think it'd be way cooler in a Firebird, than it is on a 'Vette Kart.
I could have them made at almost anytime, but would have to have around 15 made to get the cost anywhere near remotely reasonable. Just not enough interested at this point to justify moving forward at this time
Has anyone done an A > B comparison on a dyno, of a stock or stockish L98 vs. same engine with a T-Ram ONLY swap? IOW, has it been tested/documented what the T-Ram is actually good for, power wise on a stock L98? Other than the marketing literature from the Summit Racing catalog back in the day?

A while ago I had 3D CAD files made for the T-Ram and dual CAI brackets as well as the aluminum cam. I’ll be picking up the first sample run of the brackets tomorrow. I'll need to compare them to the original parts, then make any tweaks or adjustments before moving on to a small batch run. I'm in the process of having the cam 3D printed again and will need to have a few tweaks made to that file before sending the file off to have the cam CNC milled. I don't have prices yet, but if anyone has any interest in any of these parts, or a complete set, please let me know so I have have an idea how many of what I need to have made.
Automatic transmission/cruise control assembly and T-Ram throttle bracket will be available very soon. Will also have a few charcoal canister relocation brackets and belt guide brackets available.
First run of cams are almost complete. The original cam can be seen in photos 2 & 3 behind the new cam. The reproduction part has a much cleaner surface finish than the original had. We will offer additional upgrades to the cam featuring roller bearings or bronze bearing surface and/or anodized finish if desired.
The brackets will be finished late this month. I have coated the sample brackets and some are shown in the photos below with the originals.
If you are in need of any of these parts, let me know.
First reproduction SLP T-Ram Cruise Control assembly, throttle bracket, belt guard, and charcoal canister relocation bracket are together and will be shipping out this week to their new home. Huge thank you to Greg Koteski, Danny Jankus, and Robert Eiserman for all the help in making this happen, I appreciate each of you more than you know.
If you are in need of any of the above items, send me a message and we'll make it happen.
Do you have the small pin/Allen bolt to retain the short cable in the cam and the cable adjustment screw/jam nut that screws into the threaded hole on bracket?

Nice to see someone reproducing the really hard to find parts. That bracket and cam cannot be duplicated in your garage and the reproductions are of a much better quality than the originals. T-Rams are worth what someone will pay, and do work. There a ton more other alternatives out there, but T-Rams are rare and nobody tried to knock them.
