If you do one like 86Fyrbird's (the orange one) with a Ram Air II hood and 4thgen wheels, and all one color, it would look pretty good.

Otherwise, I'm not a big fan of it. I like the way the Aerowing looks on an otherwise stock T/A. (like my '86)

I think they're stupid. Along with the '98+ WS6 hood. the '96-'97 WS6 hood looks great on the '91-'92 firebirds but that's about it. You asked. I told.

I think when you take a fourth gen spoiler and slap it on a third gen it looks kinda sloppy where it meets the glass along the sides. The styling of the spoiler itself looks allright on a third gen though, so it'd look okay if some company would make one that fits the contour of the third gen hatch glass.

I wonder who makes 4th gen wings to fit 3rd gen cars.. hmmm...

...I'm drawing a blank..

Aside from seeming to be a bit too tall.. I think 4thgen wings look alright on a 3rdgen.

Go for it, I love 'em, and they look great even without my hood, I like the look I had w/ just the spoiler b4 I installed the hood.

I'm as anti-spoiler and as anti-rice as just about anybody here, but I have to admit that I love mine. When I ordered it, I was on the fense between the stock style and the 4th gen style. Since my stock 3rd brake light housing was broken, and the stock spoiler was $25 more, I wound up saving a bunch of money by going with the 4th gen, which is the reason I chose it. When I set it on the car I had mixed feelings, but after the car was painted and it was the same color, I fell in love with it. Now I think regular GTAs look goofy.

4th gen wing

would a stock 4th gen wing fit our cars or do gtauto make them custom fit for ours? if so i'd rather go to a junkyard and pull one off a wrecked one!!

stock ones dont fit but can be modified it you know how to work with body puddy and stuff.

Mine, and JIM85iroc's (I think his is) GT Auto products.

GT Auto is supposed to have an article about his company in the issue of High Performance Pontiac due out soon I think, Im sure that will probobly give some good info on them, and hopefull you'll see my car in it too, wish I knew which ones made it in.

GTAuto is the only one making them. No matter where people buy it from, they're getting GTAuto's.
