I saw one outside the local Autozone here. It looked pretty badass!! I really liked the hood. It was black though with a gold bird on the hood like a second gen. There a little weak in the performance department though. Thats what I've heard anyways.....

Weren't the Bandit IIs made by an aftermarket company in Tenn. or GA? I don't think they had any performance upgrades other than exhaust, a wonderbar, and a shift kit. I've seen one around here before too. Next time I see it parked at Kroger's I'll have to stop and have a look.

Yes it is a fatory car. The parts are done out of TN. They also make a Pontiac Firebird Pro-Am. I am looking into getting one of them. They install a none funct hood and side skirts, and covers around the front and rear bumpers at the bottom. As far as the bandits, I don't know a wjole lot about them, but if you do a search I know you will find something. I spoke with a guy from here that has done alot of research about them. Try to do a search under my name for Pro Am if you would like to know more.
bandit 2s
i saw one here in Oklahoma once & only once.... it didnt really meet the sweetness mark in my opinion... guy tried to race me.. i was in my truck... he got left in the dust.. so my opinion is that the car looks ok, drives ok, but is TOTALLY non-performance. this has been my .02 cents.
Is it just me or is that like the 8th time that guy has tried to sell that car on ebay? I'm an ebay ***** and I've seen it several times before. I want one. Lot's of miles on that one

bandit II car.
I was just wondering about that myself. A few years ago a guy showed up at the fayetteville firebird meeting with a 98-99 white firebird that said bandit 2 or something on the side. I do believe there was a cb in it. Not sure.
I do remember all the guys drooling and rushing over to look at it. At the time I was engaged to a young idiot and he dropped to his kness and acted like he was in love with it.
It was a few years ago so i am not sure about the year. But it looked like a 98-99.

I have a red 90 model Bandit II #18. I think they look sweet but their performance isn't up to the looks. I was thinking of running mine on ebay to see what it would do. It has almost 40k miles on it.
