Does it go on the roof or deck lid at all?

I don't like it, but its your car man, do what you want.

Yeah lets see the entire car. I have to say it is an interesting stripe. Never really one like that. Looks good, not my taste but good. Those chevy symbols on your parking lamps...well ahhh hmmmm I aint a big fan, but hey....your car. Also, try that camera again. My buddy has a digital camera that when you push the button to take the pic, even though you think it took the picture it hasnt yet, there is some sort of delay. So just sap a picture then stay still for a few more seconds, that prolly will clear that up.

guys the whole reason it isnt 2 stripes is so its different ur stripe is s so original so many people have it, i want something thats diff so i took the grand sport stripe and stretcehed it over my louvers and added a pinstripe around it

hey looking at it there is nothing "wrong" with them. they do look good, the blue and the white look really good together.
If you wanted to do the one stripe, hey its your car , and i still give you a big I just would have left the stripe go down onto the grill like you did and shorten it say 2 inches and bring the stripe around.

Wheres the back half of it kinda like one of the ricers around here with two stock steel wheels without hubcaps and two 18" "tuner" rims, just not complete.

back half

personally i think when peop;le get racing stripes that continue to the back of the car and down the rear it looks extrmely gay! so that is why i didnt continue it to the rear and it isnt on the top either cause i have t-Top which makes no room for the stripe on the hood, the way i thought of it and designed it was for the hood only

that doesnt make sense...they look good when they are continued...i think it would look weird with 1/2 of the stripes on the car...

Oh well...its your car...as long as your happy with it...

I would of took the louvers off before I painted the stripe because IMO it just dont look right with that little bit of blue around the louvers. Unless the picture makes it look that way!

well fast

lol well fast i probably would have done the same thing if i got it painted lol that isnt painted on its a custom Vinyl Decal that i got customly done at a design shop, and they had to go aroudn the louvers cause i didnt want them to cover the louvers obviously but in real life the blue actually looks great in between the stripe and what not

It looks good. So its only on your hood and none on the deck lid? If it were me, I would stripe the deck lid too. You don't have to go down the bumper. Just on the top of the deck lid. Otherwise it may look unfinished.

I think it looks pretty decent.
I too have a T-Top car & so far every stripe that i have saw that goes on the roof, looks like crude, there isn't enough roof in the front of the T-Top to look good, but the strip on the back may look good.
There are few hoods that stand out on our cars, they are fairly generic mostly (yes there are a few good ones)

I think that looks awesome on the hood! I don't know if I would put it down the whole car though. Nice job!

im just saying that it might look weird with the 1/2 car with stripes....

IrocKid1989 : take a shot like the second one i have....i wanna see what the car looks like from that angle....

all im saying...if your gonna stripe it...dont do half the car..it might look funny...if he gets the pics posted...then we can see if it looks good or not...so far it looks alright in the front...

Thats exactly what I was going to do when I got my car painted a few months ago. Everyone kept telling me "no it looks cleaner without any stripes at all". I myslef like the GS theme. The original GS stripes didn't go down the back of the car IIRC. I myself would continue it down the decklid and down the backside of the spoiler.

Maybe if you want Bowties Autozone sells little 5x3 stick ons that would look cool in red on the bottom of the ground effects towards the rear before the tire. Then you'd really have a stand out job...

Sweet car, sweet stripe, and keep up the creativity. Don't be like me and let naysayers keep you from what you truly want.
