How do I make my 84 Z-28 look like IROC
How do I make my 84 Z-28 look like IROC
Was just wondering what I would have to do to make my 84' Z look like an IROC. I know I have to get decals and wheels, but what else? Are the ground effects and bumpers the same?
ground effects
hood
decals
wheels
for the exterior
for the interior
that is a whole different story
people here are going to tell you it is blasfamy
to put IROC decals on a car if it is not one.
and i agree. if you want to sup your car up go right ahead, but decals are a No No :nono:

whats the big deal? if i had an orange charger with a rebel flag and "01" on the doors would you say "thats not the real general lee!" No, you would say "there goes a sweet *** general lee. hell yea thats cool." so whats the difference? the guy has a Z28, he wants an iroc, so what? let him build one. as far as i'm cconcerned, as long as he doesn't put a type R badge on it he's good. BTW, i was gonna put a 350 in my formula, and then have it painted and put the FORMULA 350 decals on, is this a nono too? i think not, but tell me your opinion anyway

I say do what you want as long as you don't sell it as an original IROC. That would not be right to the next owner.

Convert your car ...good luck but dont cheat on selling this as an IROC
What I plan to do is make the exterior look like an IROC. Minus the decals. The Z-28 badges will stay. Plans will include suspension upgrades and a 383 I pulled out of my vette. Along with upgraded suspension. As far as selling it as an IROC, I believe that would be a cardinal sin. Besides, it is my opinion that the third-gen F-body is the meanest looking of all sedan-class cars. When these cars are modified and built properly, they just scream mean. Mustangs don't come close.
