I finally got the pictures of my new paint job

Not bad, but I think she only gots a 2.8L in the car, with 255 the car wont really move too well. I went with 235's and there pretty nice, but if you go with bigger jsut put the fatties on the back. Also get some light rims too.

I like the grey paint job. It looks good. Do you plan on getting some larger rims, (16s or 17s) because it would make your SC look even better. I think you should also change your sig and avatar pictures since you have better shots of it now.

That looks really good. I still think some other rims would look a lot better, but didn't you say you liked those?
Holy crap, that's just scary what you did to my car! O_O *runs and tells car she would not do that to it* does looks kinda cool though, lol
Anyway....well, I've been thinking about it, but I really dont know what would look good on my car - rim-wise. Yes, i do like the rims that are on there now. My car, obviously, doesn't have GFX's so I really don't know what would look good on my car...
However, if someone could find something that looks good on a car that does not have GFX's, by all means, I'm up for looking!
Thank you for all the compliments! And I will change my sig soon, too.

Like I said earlier, 85-87 style IROC-Z wheels. This is John Millican's car. He's got 255/50-16 Futura UltraZ's. I wasn't saying the 255 wide for hooking up, I was saying 255 wide for the wider is better look.

Those rims do look pretty good...I'd have fun polishing them
I got her painted at a local shop - Quality Colors. The car isnt for local shows, so there are the normal imperfections here and there. Paint job was about 1700, and I'm very happy with the end result.

lol, I do have a pic of me with the car that was used at my graduation presentation, but I will never post it here. I'm no fun and I don't think I photograph well.....I just like pics of the car by itself. ^_^
OO, that car looks good....one day i will have a gray one....and a red one.....and a blue one...*lists the color combinations to herself* and then there are the different years.
Anyway, I don't ever plan to get rid of that car. My first car and proud of it!

Hey glad to see you got it back and they did a good job. Feels great to have a car with new paint doesn't it? Now the 3 month wait before waxing! Man it makes me so nervous....
I'm going thru the "how do I clean it w/o scratching the finish phase right now". I did pic up some of those microfiber towels. And I'm sold. I wash the car with them and dust off before and during shows. I will let nothing else touch my car. No white USA made cotton towel even (They still scratch) I have done the wash procedure...3 times & dusted off at shows about a dozen times. (last show was 2 days and very dusty) No scratches yet. The dusting off at shows makes me so nervous. The car is a dust magnet right now.
Microfiber towels rule!
Again I'm so glad yor baby came out well. Looks good! I guess I need to update my sig too!

RedRaif, I was told the microfiber towels were for polishing only? I'm using soft t-shirts right now, which are working wonderfully.
However, if the microfiber towels work better, Hell I'm going to get some!

I asked some paint & polishing professionals and no one said I could not use them for that. Basically, I wash with one and dry with an absorber. Once I get to the show I dust the car off with another microfiber towel. (I have 4 of the small ones) I have mostly heard about them for polishing as well, but I was more concerned about hurting the fresh paint for the first few months before I can wax. I was told these do not scratch unlike towels, so I decided to give them a go. I don't think they last as long in a washing type senario. That may be why they are said to be used for polishing only.
Thank you very much for that info. I'm using an extremely soft mit that I rinse out before I take it back to the bucket for more soap. Then I use one of my t-shirts to dry the car. I love that shirt.
