Sadly another 3rd gen Gone
Well I totaled my 91 z Saturday I was making a turn (from the center turning lane) into a parking lot at 11pm and some fool in a black pick up with NO LIGHTS ON! hits me at 50mph on the front passenger side ( and shes totaled out) and i got a ticket for "Failure to yield to the right of way" but the insurance company offered me $4100 and the car back so she will be paid off and I'm goin to part her out.

I getting so tired of hearing about us thirdgeners getting the blame put on us. 4k is a good deal from an insurance company, assuming that was relatively stock. If our cars keep getting totaled at this rate, thirdgens will become rare
. I am glad that nothing has happened to mine, even though it does not look and performe all that great. It is always weird how the nice ones always get smashed up.

I still don't see how it's your fault, when he didn't have his lights on.

considering they were that quick to cough up $4000, they know their driver is at fault. I would ask for 5500-6500, as that's what i think the car is worth, I paid 6500 for my 85k mile 91 L98 Z28...
too bad..it was a sharp looking car.

Man, I got $6100 for mine & it only had 23K miles on it, then bought it back for $900. Unfortunately though, a 1LE has no insurance value really, just a stripped down Z w/ no A/C.
Sorry for your loss & impressed u found another 1LE already! Only a few of 'em left!

Sorry to hear about your car. Not sure about the rims, I would have to see them in person. They don't look that bad. Good luck with your next project.
