I seen some a while back, but for get the guy that had them. I'll try a search real quick, also try the brake board too.
Here are a picture of them, NOT on the car..........
Look on the thread " Let's See everyone's winter prohects"..........It's where i got the pic and the member that posted it is installing them over the winter...........

the baer brakes are nothing more than the 1le brake with a name on it when i went to sema i talked to alot of guys about brakesadn i'd have to say the brake man is one of the best and if you dont think so call them because they all know their $hit. this is their link www.thebrakeman.com also global west has a 6 piston wilwood kit from the spindal out for our cars they told me the cost is around 2k but before you decide six piston is better call the brake man so they can explain why it's not.
if you are talking about the global west kit its a six piston kit they machine a new hub and modify a spindal to fit it on. so it includes the caliper, spindal, rotor, hat, pads, and even lines i think. now i cant remember i the brake man has a kit for us so you might want to make sure on that one. i havent got a kit yet but on my bird i'm getting the wilwood because of the looks and it wont be driven daily. but on my camino i'm putting the brake mans kit on for better reliability and strength
well, i don't personally know about baer's street dependability. but as far as 1-le models go their brakes are nothing short of what some braided lines and some good pads will do on the stock setup.
1-le brakes do not impress me in the least, the are "nicer" than the stock setup; but for the same amount of money i would gladly take my chances with something like a baer or wilwood kit.
thank you for the suggestions though, i'll definately have to check that website out!

I love my Baer brakes. Yes the inital cost is alot I agree but they are well worth it in the long run. $1100.00 really aint bad when you look at the total investment that you put into your car. If they stop you from hitting sombody in the a$$ one day they pay for themselves right there. Overall I think if you have a nice car that you care about like Kandied does, the brakes are one of the best invesments you can make on your car.

I'm running the 13 inch track system, about the only real advantage would be greater leverage for braking. Your in luck though, the 13 inch track system will fit behind 91-92 Z-28 wheels. Tose are the only year 16 inch Z wheels they fit behind. There is a guy name Paul Huryk I think that has the 13 inch Baers behind his 91-92 Z wheels.
do you have a pic!!!
is there any real performance gain, what else is different besides the visual of a 13" rotor???
thanks for the help guys!!
wow that's alot of exclamation.........

The 13 inch rotor acts as a bigger heatsink. With the bigger rotors the caliper is clamping further away from the center of the spindle. This creates a better leverage advantage over the smaller rotors. Heres a pic of Pauls wheels/brakes

I like the Baer setup but the only thing I dont like is the price on new rotors. I e-mailed Thunder Racing and I was told that the price came in at:
Replacement rotors will run $270(Sport), $290(Track) and the pads will be $109 for either system.
That price is for 1 rotor. Can anyone get them cheaper than this or is this the standard price?
Also, are the 1LE brakes 1 or 2 piston?
Regards
Robert

that price must be for the 2 peice rotors?
don't know.............all i know is they want 1600 for the front kit i want and 300 for the matching rotors in the rear.
so much for being close to the 1-LE, even though this is with two peice rotors that are cross drilled/ slotted/ zinc washed and the hats are anodized in your choice color or black for cheaper and polished caliper.

I don't know if that is for the 1 or 2 piece rotors, they never stated. I also e-mailed Baer a while back ragarding prices of the rotors and I got ne reply.
well since the single peice rotor is under 300 for two i wouldn't take anything less than the 2 peice if they are that much!
price sure adds up, i would hate to see a 6 piston alcon set with all these upgrades.
they should put a sign up stating for serious racers only or those with very deep pockets.
